GPO SP89E Planning Engineer – BP p.l.c., Houston, TX ▪ January, 2016 - Present
· Led the planning and coordination effort for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation
and Commissioning (EPCIC) contract of the SP89E platform project in the Gulf of Mexico for the
Deepwater Developments Global Delivery Team. Shell- Appomattox in the GOM region.
· Developed S-curves, VOWD, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports for Owner and
partners.
· Performance managed facilities progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Proactively conducted regular independent contractor progress reviews.

· Led the revamp of the Global Projects Organization Planning Community of Practice web portal
creating a slick, user friendly and attractive landing page.
· Modernized the planner’s onboarding guide and organized the web content to be more intuitive and
user friendly.
· Acted as the primary interface with IT&S in support of keeping our planning systems running
smoothly, de-risking outages and supporting the license and maintenance de-allocation program that
resulted in savings of over $50K for the company.
· Facilitated driving a solution to a POBS bug in Primavera P6 version 7 (known to Oracle, unknown to
BP). The end result was an easy to use tool provided by IT&S as a work around solution pending the
P6 upgrade. The Primavera database continued to run seamlessly.
· Led an international based team that provided Planning Systems and Tools support to 150+ planners
deployed globally.
· Acted as liaison between Business (GPO) and IT&S, managing interfaces in support of the Bill of IT.

messages during Regional Leadership Team meetings.

downtime forecasting related to the Group Financial Outlook quarterly reviews.

Originally hired as Ag Planning/Scheduling Engineer for CP1 through Tech USA in January 2011 and
later joined BP in June 2012 to support the planning and scheduling effort for the Program teams.
· Created a Knowledge Management Plan and utilized it to effectively manage the Scheduling
Transition Plan, removing the need of a third-party contractor and resulting in cost savings of $20,000
per month.
· Built and managed the Primavera P6 Integrated Master Schedules for the Construction Delivery team
across the project portfolio. These schedules represent a total of 2,982 Capital Value Process
activities.
· Prepared integrated schedules between the EPC (CH2MHill) and the Major Projects Program Teams.
· Developed the Work Breakdown Structure for the US Biofuels Program.
· Led the development of major project KPI’s for monthly performance progress reports in accordance

schedule delivering the project with double the estimated profit, due to re-sequencing the tasks for
execution programming and value engineering reviews.
